«Self-Defense Lessons, or How Not to Get Lost in the Forest», 18.04.24-18.05.24, Art Space «Barvy»

The project explores the intersection between the instinct to survive in the forest and human reactions to fear and danger. Here, the "forest" serves as a metaphor for the human mind.

Each work asks the questions: “How do you avoid getting lost in the forest?” and “How do you protect yourself?”

In this symbolic forest, simple survival rules apply:

  1. Don’t be afraid
  2. Find a way to stay warm
  3. Don’t pull plants out by the roots
  4. Don’t eat poisonous mushrooms
  5. Know how to camouflage yourself
  6. Shout loudly
